So long, Colourful Flat!
I handed in my flat keys this evening. It's sad. I loved that flat. I loved sharing with Sarah these past couple of months since we finished uni. We made cups of tea and didn't sleep much from all the work we were doing - her especially with her 2 jobs... I'll miss her, though Cambridge is not far, she will only be there from January; before that she will be in the middle of the Pacific! Nice!
I failed in my mission to have my room spic and span by Sunday. It's now Monday and it's done yet... Maybe one day!
Yesterday I went to church, then went to Kilimanjaro for lunch with Nadia - we had the most delicious butternut squash soup. A-Ma-Zing! We went to the Oxfam bookshop and I found this 2000 edition of Spring Harvest Songbook. And I've started to learn a couple of songs on the piano. I can read music and know the keys on the piano - it's just synchronizing both... Fast... So it's taking me about 5 minutes to play a 30 second song... And that's only the right hand. I'll get there!
We have a full house just now, with Christina's brother-in-law David, and his son, Julius. Thank goodness they both speak good English (David's from NY and speaks English to Julius, though his mother speak German to him). So them, me, the 4 kids and Christina... Fun times!
Up early for my childcare course tomorrow, so time for bed!
